Watercolour Painting Therapy

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

Yesterday as i was studying for my never ending exams and doing my textiles assignment, for which feels like forever, and began to get ever so tired with them i decided to try something that i have never done before but i had wanted to do for ages. Watercolour flowers. Whenever i browse through Pintrest i love looking at the watercolour art, i think it looks so pretty, especially to hang the finished art in your room, so i decided to give it a go and to be far i think i did alright. I know the flowers don’t go together, but i thought as practice i should learn to paint a variety of flowers. Unlike my These Broken Stars Inspired Painting , watercolour painting is really relaxing and therapeutic and i really enjoyed it and can’t wait to paint some more!

These Broken Stars inspired painting and Update

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

Hey!! i’m soooo sorry for not blogging for AGES but i was a little distracted with school, TVD (but seriously i have a serious issue with watching tvd, like…Damon Salvatore just explains everything and Delena) and stuff soooo yeah. Enough of that, i want to show a creative thing i did in my Term one break.

If you read my post about These Broken Stars then you know how much i adored the cover of that book so during my break i painted the cover of the book. It’s not super accurate but this is my version, i did it based on watercolour and acrylic. I love painting, it’s one of those things like reading where you forget the world and you just paint. Ever since I was little i loved painting and drawing, now not so much drawing but painting i still love but i don’t think i do enough painting i really want to get back into it!

Let me know in the comments below what you thought of These Broken Stars if you have read it and also if you love tvd 🙂
